Effective supervision skills (Staff) (ESSbya)

Description
[This course will take you about 1hr to complete.]

There are many elements to consider when it comes to the supervision relationship between yourself, a supervising social worker, and your foster carers – for example, the foster child’s safeguarding and welfare, regulations, training and development, and emotional support for the carer. In addition to that, it is important to develop a positive and productive working relationship with your foster carers. This can be a hard balance to strike.
